What's wrong with the scrolling?

Hello.

I like the theme but one thing is stopping me from upgrading and purchasing the premium theme, the scrolling.

I have read through a discussion regarding this and removing the ''scrolling plugin'' which the theme has, doesn't work.

It's not natural and it slows down when scrolling up and down the page, I'd like to disable or at least adjust the scrolling for a more natural feel. Editing the code via JS also doesn't work for me.

Can I have a bit of help with this please? Much appreciated.

There is a built-in feature in Hypermarket Plus plugin which allows you to optionally disable the easing effect of the page scroll.

in the childtheme put this in the _construct method of the functions.php:

function hypermarket_smooth_scroll_callback( ) {
return false;
}
add_filter( 'hypermarket_smooth_scroll', 'hypermarket_smooth_scroll_callback' );

sad that there is no option to disable in free version
